Kofi P. Amponsah–Mensah

Kofi Peter Amponsah-Mensah is a highly respected Mining Engineer and executive leader, bringing over three decades of deep technical and strategic experience in the international mining industry. He is a Founder and Director of Pamicor, a key regional provider of integrated mining, consulting, and services.

His career trajectory is marked by significant leadership roles, rising from production hand to General Manager at Bibiani Mines. His extensive experience spans major companies including AGC/AGA (Obuasi, Bibiani, Mponeng mine SA) and Kinross Chirano mines.

Mr. Amponsah-Mensah is specialized in executive functions such as Group Management, New Business Development, Strategic Planning, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), successfully executing international contracts and exploring opportunities across West Africa (Burkina Faso, Guinea, Mali, and Niger). He currently serves as a Director of Nsoromma Resources Ltd, focusing on M&A in the mining and related sectors.

He holds Diplomas in Mining Engineering from GGUMaT (Ghana) and Lulea (Sweden), along with an MBA from the University of Cape Town. A dedicated industry veteran, he is a Fellow of WAIMM and actively serves on the Advisory board of the Accra Mining Network (AMN), having previously served as Chairman of the management board of CSIR-WRI and as a Director of Asanko Gold mines Ghana.
